Flash Finish: (Photo Scavenger Hunt)

This contest is a photograph scavenger hunt that is designed for teams of up to 6 people. The objective is to find/collect photographs of the items asked on 3 different lists that vary in point value. The lists will be released at different times, and there are hidden clues and extra ways to gain more points to win the grand prize. Please be aware you do need a camera of some type and a way to turn in your photographs to us in order to participate.

Rules:
1. You MUST have a Digital Camera and the ability to upload said photos onto a computer, or the ability to develop the film and hand in actual photo prints.

2. Registration opens up on Friday, December 19th at 12:00 (Noon). Please come with your team name and member names ready to go.

3. Submissions must be turned in by no later than 12:00PM (Noon) on Sunday, December 21st. Any late submissions will still be viewed and laughed at, but no prize awarded.

4. The scavenger hunt results will be based upon a point-tally system. Completion of a particular objective will be assigned a point value: 100, 200 or 400. The person with the most points total wins the scavenger hunt.

5. Lists will be handed out at three different times. Each list will hold a different point value. Final total points will reflect totals from all 3 lists combined. So, collect all 3 lists and complete the most objectives to have the best shot at winning!

6. Oni-Con is not responsible for lost or stolen cameras and equipment.

Friday, 12:00PM (Noon), December 19th
Point value: 100pts per item completed.
Friday, 5:00PM, December 19th.
Point value: 200pts. per item completed.
Saturday, 12:00PM(Noon), December 20th.
Point value: 400pts. per item completed.

Warning: as the point value increases, so does the difficulty of completing the objective.

6. You may turn your completed scavenger hunt before the cut-off time of 12:00PM(Noon) on Sunday, December 21st. We will start accepting completed submissions at 8:00PM, Saturday, December 20th. Early entries receive a point bonus equal to an extra point per minute the list is turned in early.

7. Teams may have up to 6 members. However, smaller teams will receive a completion bonus of up to 25% of their tally total.

1 person=25% additional bonus
2 people=20% additional bonus
3 people=15% additional bonus
4 people=10% additional bonus
5 people= 5% additional bonus
6 people= 0% additional bonus

e.g. a 1 person team completing 1000 points worth of the scavenger hunt will receive an additional 250 points for "difficulty".

8. Anything expressly prohibited or illegal will result in disqualification.

9. Be safe while doing this. Oni-Con cannot and will not be held accountable for stupidity.

10. The judges' decisions are very arbitrary and final. Judges will give NO help. Judges will only rule on an objective's worthiness when viewing photographs for completion. Nothing hypothetic. Partial credit may be given at their discretion.
