Ummm, what is anime anyway?

Anime, is a drawing style prevalent in Japan and other Asian countries, has begun to become popular in America in the past decade with shows such as Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, and Pokemon.

What should I bring with me?

Of course, just like any trip, you will need a change of clothes for each day, toiletries, and extra pillow and some spending money (a LOT if you plan on spending time in the Dealer's room!). You may also want to bring a swimsuit, you never know when you'll have a chance to go swimming. Be sure to bring some form of identification, as well as a credit card, you may need these when you're checking in to your hotel room.

For cosplayers, don't forget your costume, every last little piece. You may also want to include some glue, scissors, needle & thread, safety pins, clear nail polish and anything else you think you'll need to make last minute repairs. It's also a good idea to pack some food for the con, it can get expensive eating out everyday. For those "on-the-go" otaku that sometimes forget to eat (shame on you!), pack some Vitamin C tablets and plenty of bottled water, to stay hydrated and keep from passing out (we don't want anyone getting sick!) . Packing a first aid kit can help an accident from becoming a disaster both when you're on the road and when you're at the con. We will have medical personelle on hand at the convention, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Do you have a Weapons Policy?

Please see the weapons policy on the Rules page.

Will you book a hotel room for me? How much does the Hotel cost?

Sorry, but no. You can find hotel information here.

The Hotel costs $101.99 per night and there is 17% hotel sales tax in Houston at this time. Hotel Tax is subject to change.
