Oni-Con 2008 Cosplay Update : ICG Guidelines. Taking suggestions for Oni-Con 2008 Cosplay.

I just wanted everyone to read over this. Updates for our various competetions and multiple cosplay events will be put up over the next month. The ICG Guidelines are a really fair system of setting up a masquerade competition. We are not going EXACTLY by these rules, but they will set the tone for how we do things this year.

Our main cosplay event will be split into a two-tier judging system, and be going by the ICG guidelines for the most part, but a few changes will be made The full rules will be posted, but we're doing our best to be fair and more organized this year. This is in hopes that eventually we can implement the three tier system as the competition grows.

An online pre-screening and submission form will be put up soon as well for those who want to make sure their skits get into us, and there entry will go smoothly. (Oh, the audio mishaps...sigh.)

We're having a pretty awesome half-time show. More will be announced as things are confirmed with the convention, but we'll have a lot more space for our events this year by the sounds of it.
