Questions Questions...
This will be my first con as a dealer - so can anyone help me out on this stuff?
1-What are the demensions of each booth - not the corner booths?
2-What is provided at each booth? Do we need to bring our own tables?
3-Pipes and drapery were mentioned breifly in the dealers packet... Is that the "barrier" between other booths?
4-The packet says unloading is on Thursday but set up is on Friday at 6:00am... does this mean we have to unload everything into the convention center and not setup until Friday morning? Where do we keep all the merchandise and whatnot in the between time?
I know I sound really naive and annoying, but I just want to make sure evrything goes smoothly. Are there any experienced dealers out there that can help me get answers or to offer some advice?
Regards,
Miss Deep
I am not on Oni Dealer's Staff, but I can answer most of your questions.
1. All booths are 10x10. The difference with corners is that they get 2 tables to sell from.
2. Tables are provided.
3. Yes, that is the barrier you see at a lot of trade shows. Here is a visual of what they are talking about. Here is how it would look set up.
4. Per past experience, you will have time on Thursday to start setting up. If you are not able to finish on Thursday, you will have Friday morning to finish. TO STAFF: if this has changed, please make sure you provide additional clarification.
Currently setup will start on Thursday. Each vendor has 30 minutes to use the loading docks.
Oni-Con does not provide pipe and drape, but you may get it from the convention center if its needed.
I believe all booths are 10x10 as meauho said, but I'll check into that as well.
All this info is in the dealers' packet which can be found here.
AWESOME. Very helpful guys. :) If I request pipes and such from the staff, will there be an extra cost? I'm trying to figure out if I should just go and rent my own for the weekend. Anyone know if there is a policy regarding this?
Since you will be getting pipes and drape from the GRB, they do charge for them.
This is why the Dealer's packet mentions that (if just in passing) that they may be obtained from somewhere else as well.
