Panel Suggestion: ABJDs 101; All about Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls!
I just would like to see if there is any interest from the people here on this forum to attend a BJD panel.
Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls have become very popular throughout the Texas area, however, Houston has never had a panel about them! ABJDs are essentially, resin dolls that are able to move. You can change ANYTHING about them, within the laws of physics of course. From their eyes, hair and make-up. Those of us that own these dolls would like to host a panel about them, giving out more information that may have otherwise been unreachable to some!
The co-conspirators and I however would like to know if there is any interest from attendees for us to host this panel.

Seriously guys, I really want to know if there is any interest to have a BJD panel, if not, then oh well, no panel.
Usually you might see a few of these dolls in your regular con wanderings. But a panel would mean a bunch all gathered in one place to stare at ^^.

I really like those sorts of dolls! I always wanted to aquire one and learn more about them. I would totally attened this panel if Oni-Con agreed to it.

We will have BJD panels (and maybe a photo shoot out at the park like cosplay might do.) LordHelmet is working on them, and I know she'd appreciate any help and/or suggestions!
I understand that, but over on DoA, we have already started planning for a panel, without ANY input from LordHelmet. I've met her and she is a wonderful person, but it would be nice if she would place her input on the thread at DoA.

Ok, a little bit of a rocky start, but here goes nothing XD
The collective known as LORD HELMET *DUN DUN DUUUN* is the official planner for the Oni-Con BJD panel...I should have posted a thread on our plans earlier, but it simply wasn't really a reality until very recently...we've had some stuff in mind since earlier this year, but now we've got the official go ahead ^_^
With that said, what we need now is YOUR input! what would you like to see? what would you like to do? we've gotten some good ideas gleaned from this thread and that on Den Of Angels, but we need MOAR!
Please don't hesitate to contact us with anything you'd like, and we'll try our hardest to include it!
