BIg Bruno in ......... Kazakhstan

been here for over a week now, Stop by the Netherlands for about 10 hours before catching the flight over here. I been to 2 cities so far. it is nice here but not as much to do as Hong Kong or Japan of course. I been working pretty much all day and some of the weekend but I do have some free time. When i got here I was fairly bummied, I packed my PSP to fill some of my gap time with and forgot to pack the Power charger, I been without for about 1 week but Today I found a video game store that sells the chargers. I am here until the end of the month and may end up coming back. I also booked my flight to Japan again for Oct.

Interesting seeing pokemon in Russian on tv and Naruto is here as well, found a few shops caring naruto stuff

well I am still here, flying

well I am still here, flying back to Houston for a week then heading back unless the huricane causes issues. flying through Holland on the way back which is a plus since it means I can load up on the holland candies. Nothing like fresh golden bears.

anyway I have been here for a month. I finally got around to finding some music and gaming stories. there is not so much gaming here, mostly all imported and expensive. there is a few anime titles I imagine dubbed or subbed in russian(like samurai shampoo) most are under $10 for dvd but they are only 2 eps per disc. Funny thing is I also see them in dump bins at grocery stores. One of the stores even had a few old hentai titles in there. I will probably pick up some of the titles my second trip to take back with me, it may be fun to watch another show in different languages with english subtitles, but only for a few mins ;) they did have the most recent ghibli film though which I am not sure if it was released in the states yet, so I may get that.

the country is nice, kinda like living in a small\mid size town. one thing though there is nothing from the states here for the most part except for coke\pepsi (which taste different) and a few brand names. no fast food places or even a starbucks :) i have had several local foods though and it is pretty good. even smoked a turkish hooka (tobacco of course). Oh they do have karoke here, better then he places I have been to in houston but not as fun as at home. with american and russian songs. one night I want karoke and bowling until like 2am.
