Perhaps. But I would miss having a panel like last year's.

I don't think we'll

I don't think we'll have a meet-up this year like the one we had last year. D:
Last year's meet-up was awesome.

It makes me kind of sad that Onicon doesn't care about it's boardies anymore. It makes me wonder why I'm bothering to pay to go. :/

Woah, woah, woah...

Woah, woah, woah...

Before all hope is given up, allow me to at least request once again exactly who's running it.

Seriously, I'm opting myself up to run it. I'm really wanting to gather up the whole crew once again, for old times sake.

Hmm, meeting someplace just

Hmm, meeting someplace just for the heck of it might be fine. I wouldn't have a clue on who is running the panel. I would have to go see.

I think we can assume that

I think we can assume that GAM isn't running it this year? Has anyone gotten a chance to ask the people who ran it last year?

If it's on the schedule, honestly, I'll probably show up. So long as it isn't on Sunday anyway.

The point being that no one

The point being that no one wants to attend a Boardies Meetup? If no one wants to attend, I'm sure we can find something to fill the space. I'd suggest getting together and discussing what changes y'all would like to see.... Something productive. Using this time to come up with something constructive helps everyone out, since we're all volunteers here and there seems to be a real failure in communicating what the actual problem with the forums is.

I think it was communicated very clearly in the thread in the "Whatever" section what, exactly, the majority of us don't like about this forum system. Could you perhaps explain what it is you aren't understanding about it? Several people, myself included, made lists of what bothers them about this new system and what makes it so that the majority of the "regulars" no longer post here.

And the point isn't that no one wants to attend a Boardies Meetup-- the point is that most people feel, at this point, like there is no "boardies" group as we don't really feel we have a board we can regularly post to.

Uh... Time to interrupt

Uh...

Time to interrupt this argument or a progressing one.

I'm opting to run this for sure now.

Seriously, I got a PM from Leion regarding this, and it's because Fitz always pushes for that idea.

GAM member-wise, Rei, Beto, and myself should be available. Bushido's working security, and I don't think Swordfish/Luis doesn't have the financial backing to make it to Oni.

Either way, I'm not giving up on this at all. You've got me sadly mistaken if you think this is so. Seriously, this is the best way to concenrtate all the people that post here. I don't care if it's bad/good/whatever; I just wanna be able to meet up with some people I haven't seen for a year or so that post on here, and this, in my opinion, is the perfect way to do it.
